<![CDATA[Installation of REXYGEN 2.50.10-testing]]>Hello, there is REXYGEN pre-release version 2.50.10-r5 available for testing. For upgrading REXYGEN on your Raspberry Pi please follow the instructions:

  • change the source for the APT packaging system:
sudo nano /etc/apt/sources.list.d/rexcontrols.list

replace the contents with:

deb http://download.rexcontrols.cz/repositories/debian-rex-2.50-testing/ buster non-free

Save and exit.

  • Update packages cache:
sudo apt update
  • Uninstall REXYGEN runtime modules:
sudo apt purge rexygen-runtime
sudo apt autoremove
  • Install the newest REXYGEN runtime modules:
sudo apt install rexygen-runtime

Note: the instructions assume that you are using Raspbian Buster or newest Raspberry OS. If not, please upgrade your system.

the official release version is still 2.50.9 for now. However we are not far from public release of 2.50.10 and the pre-release version is available in above mentioned post.

Made a fresh buster installation and followed the standard procedure of the REXYGEN getting started description. But the install was 2.50.9. Or is there still only the testing version released?

The repository for the release candidate has been replaced with a testing repository.
Please change the -r5 section of the URL address to -testing.

I just tried to update a Raspberry to the r5 release, but get this problem:

So I cannot get to the newest release right now. I did updated a few others without problems some time back.

I will try another time again, maybe problem with server now?
