    Request for demo license does nothing

      When I request a demo license the form just disappears and restarts REXGEN Studio. No error code just a restart.

        Hi Larry,

        please, can you provide more details? Which REXYGEN version do you use on your host PC? Does your target device run the same REXYGEN version? Which operating system is running on your host PC? Thank you.

        In any case, you can always generate the DEMO licence manually - just fill in the form at https://licensing.rexygen.com/homepage/demo-licence

        If I can be of any assistance, let me know.

          I'm using REXGEN 2.50.10 on windows 10. The target is a pi3b with an new and updated Buster. I installed the REX software using the instructions in the current documentation. After a clean new PI when I try to connect to user pi with the correct pswd I get :

          Connecting to rex://pi@192.168.1.245:43981/ System user doesn't belong to any REXYGEN group on target device (code -123)

          sudo getent group rex yields : rex❌995:pi

          When I got this error I thought it was because I didn't have a license. Am I incorrect?

            Hi Larry,

            thanks for details. The issue is that you are trying to connect to REXYGEN Runtime Core with Raspbian user account. The default user is admin and there is no password by default.

              Solved: Hello, I tried to activate demo license by clicking Next , but it doesn't allow & asking for license 192.168.l.254 file. Please present license it is showing nothing in License Manager window as shown ... Please suggest any other settings to do for Demo licensing?You installed a trial version of the application on the computer, which has expired. Adobe Customer Service deactivated your serial number. This issue can occur when you request a new serial number from Adobe Customer Service
